Recipe: Strawberry butter
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 cup hulled and chopped fresh strawberries
In a medium bowl add the room temperature butter, sugar, and salt and beat together using a hand mixer or place in a stand mixer until smooth and fully incorporated; about 1 minute and then add strawberries and beat until combined. Serve at room temperature and freeze the balance.
The butter will freeze for 2 months in an air tight container and will need to be thawed in the refrigerator overnight and then set a room temperature for a few hours before using.
